Adriatic Charter Service d.o.o, with registered seat in Rovinj, Giuseppe Tartinia 1 (service provider), deals with the organization of the experience of watching dolphins in their natural environment, „Dolphin Watching Rovinj”

Reservation and payment

Booking requests are received electronically, in writing, by telephone or in person at the agency’s office. When making a reservation, the guest confirms that he is familiar with these General terms and conditions. In this way all what is listed becomes a legal obligation for the guest and for the service provider.

The right of the service provider to changes and cancellation

The service provider has the right to change the time of departure or cancel the reserved service if before or during the performance of the service exceptional circumstances occur which cannot be avoided or eliminated. The service provider then offers the guest an alternative time-slot or refoundation, according to the guest’s choice and the availability of the places on the vessel.

If a guest wants to change or cancel a reservation made on his request, he must do it 48 hours before the scheduled departure.

Obligations of the service provider

The service provider’s obligation is to take care of the service performance and also about the rights and interests of the guest in accordance with the customs in tourism.

The service provider is obliged, if during the excursion there is no encounter with the dolphins, to enable the guest a repeated departure free of charge within the next 14 days.

Obligations of the guest

The guest is obliged:

– to have the correct travel documents

– to comply with the skipper’s instructions during the excursion and cooperate with the crew in good intentions.


Pets are welcome with prior notice. Bringing a pet on the excursion implies that the pet will be at all times with the owner and that it will not left unattended.

Declaration of Disclaimer and Terms of Service

The service provider provides a dolphin watching excursion service, respecting all legal obligations under the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Also, within its capabilities, the service provider will do everything to keep the passengers on board safe and comfortable. However, the service provider assumes no responsibility for any inconvenience caused by the behaviour and neglect of the passengers.

The service provider assumes no responsibility for any inconveniences, injuries or anything similar which may be caused by the negligence of the user of the service.

By buying a ticket, all participants confirm that they are in good health and can participate in the boat excursion.

All passengers on the vessel are insured with a mandatory insurance of the service provider for damage to third parties. Accident insurance for all situations that are caused by the behaviour or neglect of passengers are not covered by this insurance and the service provider assumes no responsibility.

All children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and full responsibility for them during their stay on board is borne by parents or guardians.

We recommend that all non-swimmers during the excursion wear life jackets which are secured. Children under the age of 3 years cannot board the vessel.

All passengers are OBLIGED to follow the instructions of the crew and skipper during their stay on board. The skipper’s decision is final.

All appeals or praises can be made via e-mail. All users who request it will be informed in writing of actions taken based on the appeal.

All passengers and users of dolphin watching service acknowledge that the dolphins are wild animals and that it is not possible to guarantee in advance finding and observation of dolphins or dolphin behaviour.

The reservation is considered confirmed after the ticket has been paid in full. If the payment is made online, the reservation is considered confirmed when the payment is received on the account of the service provider (or its agent). Once the reservation is confirmed, in case of cancellation by the guest, the paid ticket amount can be refunded no later than 48 hours before departure. The ticket can be transferred to another person only for booked excursion time.

In case the excursion is cancelled by the service provider, the paid amount will be fully refunded. Passengers cannot claim any other charges.

In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with our service, the parties will first try to resolve the dispute or request in a friendly manner. If a decision cannot be reached within 4 weeks, the parties accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Croatia.

Guests release the service provider of any liability for any direct or indirect damage, any material or non-material damage and/or costs (including the costs of the proceeding) that may arise as a result of participating in a dolphin watching excursion and/or may be caused by the behaviour of the participants.

By purchasing a ticket, guests acknowledge that they are familiar with these Terms of Service and Declaration of Disclaimer and accept them as undisputable.
